We had another successful supper for anyone spending Christmas Day alone.

The Elks hall was nicely decorated. We served 87 meals; this included guests who sat at the tables, 15 who had takeout meals and 10 helpers.

We thank valley residents, businesses and organizations who were again so very generous with donations of cash or food: Valley Biz, Star & Times, Elks Hall, The Friendship Centre and Swan Valley Co-op. We are so grateful to the volunteers who decorated, set tables, prepared or served food and helpers who picked up guests and delivered meals. Also helping were those cleaning up.

The leftover food was all donated. This year we are able to make 2 donations with the extra money we received to the Elks Hall and to the Food Bank. We very much appreciate all the generous contributions.
