On Friday July 7th, 2023 Swan Valley Credit Union held its annual Beef on a Bun in support of two important community groups: North West Regional Immigrant Services – Summer Engagement Program and the Swan Valley School Division Band Program.

In addition, we took a moment to acknowledge a very special birthday, as SVCU turns 70 on July 14th!

Thankfully, the weather co-operated, and we saw a steady stream of community members come out to enjoy a delicious meal.

SVCU served over 500 meals, raising a total of $5,500 that will be split between our 2 community groups.

We would like to extend a big thank you to our local valley communities for coming out in support of our event and recognize that our success would not be possible without our Volunteers, Staff and Board of Directors as well as our suppliers: Valley Meats, Swan Valley Co-op, Verneece Eggie, Town of Swan River, Pratt’s Food Service and GX94 for being live on location with us.
