RCMP Media Release

On July 6, 2023, at approximately 8:25 pm, Swan River RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover, on Highway 10, south of Cowan.

The investigation has determined the vehicle was travelling south on Highway 10, when it went off the roadway and rolled. The two occupants, both from Briggs Spur, were thrown from the vehicle.

A 48-year-old male was pronounced deceased on scene.

A 45-year-old female was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Swan River RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
