Coming to a new country can be a scary process and not having a command of the English language can make it more difficult. CFSV was pleased to be able to assist the Immigrant Services Branch in Swan River with the purchase of English as a Second Language (ESL) materials and tablets for newcomers from Ukraine.

This group and any other newcomers to the Valley will use these resources to better equip them for school and the local labor market.

The Community Foundation of Swan Valley is a charitable organization founded by local citizens to help people invest in building a community that is a better place to live, work and play. Since its inception in 2005, the CFSV has provided over $1,000,000 in funding across the Swan Valley
