RESOLVED that the Board of Revision for the 2023 Assessment Roll shall be set for Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipality of Swan Valley West, 216 Main Street West, Swan River MB. and;
RESOLVED that the Members of Council shall sit as a Board for the purpose of hearing applications for revision of 2023 assessments under Subsection 42(1) of the Municipal Assessment Act, with the Reeve to sit as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Administrative Officer to sit as the Secretary of the Board, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the deadline to submit applications for revision of the 2023 Assessment Roll shall be set as September 26th, 2022 and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all necessary advertising, mailing and posting of the notice for said hearing shall be made in accordance with The Municipal Act.

WHEREAS, the members of the Workplace Safety and Health Committee for the Municipality of Swan Valley West have reviewed the Improvement Orders stating from the Workplace Safety and Health Officer, and;
WHEREAS, the improvement orders state that: If a risk is identified, correct any unsafe conditions as soon as it reasonably practicable and, in the interim, take immediate steps to protect the safety and health of any person who may be at risk, and;
WHEREAS, a listing of items to be purchased as soon as possible has been presented by the Committee to the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we do approve the attached purchase listing with the exception of the last item on the list the barrel lifter.
