WHEREAS the owners of PT. Lots 2 and 3 Plan 2613 DLTO affecting CT 2263173/6 and 2281316/6 have made an application to subdivide their property. As the intent of the application is to reconfigure the lots to fit the holdings and accommodate the existing driveway, and;
WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed said application, along with the letter received from Community and Regional Planning dated May 18th, 2021 and have no objections to the aforementioned subdivision;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED we do hereby approve the Subdivision of the aforementioned property, provided all conditions and requirements set out in said letter from the Province of Manitoba, Community and Regional Planning Branch are met.

4.4 Conditional Use Application – Public Hearing Date

RESOLVED that a Public Hearing shall be held on January 25th, 2022 at 7:15 pm for the purpose of receiving presentations from those who may be interested in regards to the request for a Conditional Use within the AG-Zone on the property known as DESC SW 19-35-29 W. Specifically to allow for an electrical business (repair establishments), as allowed under Table 4-1 “AG – Agriculture General Zone”, Use and Bulk Table of the RM of
Swan River Zoning By-Law No. 2383-04, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all necessary advertising, mailing and posting of the notice for said hearing shall be made in accordance with The Planning Act.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all necessary advertising, mailing and posting of the notice for said hearing shall be made in accordance with The Planning Act.

4.6 Special Services Waste Collection – Public Hearing Date

WHEREAS Section 312 of The Municipal Act provides in part as follows:
“if approved by by-law, a municipality may provide, as a special service to all or part of a municipality, one or more of the following;
e) the collection and transportation of waste or recyclable materials;”
AND WHEREAS Council believes it to be in the best interest of the municipality to establish a Special Service to provide for the collection and transportation of waste materials for a portion of the municipality, and;
WHEREAS Council hereby proposes that the Special Service be instituted for the collection and transportation of waste materials in accordance with the provisions of The Municipal Act, and;
WHEREAS Council directed staff to prepare the applicable By-law and proposal for the collection and transportation of waste materials at there October 26, 2021 regular council meeting, and;
WHEREAS said By-Law has been prepared and reviewed by the Council of the Municipality.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT a Public Hearing shall be held on January 25th, 2021 at 7:30 pm for the purpose of receiving presentations from those who may be interested and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all necessary advertising, mailing and posting of the notice for said hearing shall be made in accordance with The Municipal Act.
