Swan Valley School Division Notice |

On June 18, 2021, Manitoba Public Health officials advised Heyes School of a confirmed case of COVID-19 that was in the school when communicable on June 15. This case was not believed to be acquired at school.

This information has been sent via email to Heyes School families.

School administration is working closely with Public Health officials and following their recommendations. Close contacts connected to the case have been identified and advised to self-isolate. Anyone who is a close contact will be notified by Public Health and or the school. If you have not been contacted you are not considered a close contact.

Please note that Swan Valley School Division is not permitted to release the name or any identifying information about the confirmed case of COVID-19 to any member of the school, community or media.

Though they have since been cleaned previously, out of an abundance of caution Heyes School will be doing enhanced cleaning on the affected. Heyes School will be open on Monday, June 21, 2021.
