Boil Water Advisories |

A power outage on May 17, 2021, led to a loss of water pressure in several distribution systems within the Swan Valley. A loss of water pressure in the distribution system can compromise the safety of the water supply.

A boil water advisory has been issued on May 18, 2021 for the following Swan Valley Communities:

Birch River
Bowsman
Mafeking
Minitonas
Swan River

Until further notice, all water used for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute before it is used for:
– Drinking and ice making
– Preparing beverages, such as infant formula
– Preparing food, including washing fruits and vegetables
– Brushing teeth
