RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 02-2021, being a By-law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purpose of establishing a Bowsman Utility Reserve for replacement and repairs of Bowsman water and sewer infrastructure, shall be introduced and read a first time this 16th day of March, 2021 A.D.

RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 03-2021, being a By-Law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purposes of establishing a Minitonas Utility Reserve for replacement and repairs of Minitonas water and sewer infrastructure, shall be introduced and read a first time this 16th day of March, 2021 A.D.

RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 04-2021, being a By-Law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purpose of establishing a Federal Gas Tax Reserve, shall be introduced and read a first time this 16th day of March, 2021 A.D.

RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 05-2021, being a By-Law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purpose of establishing a CDI Reserve for community development initiatives, shall be introduced and read a first time this 16th day of March, 2021 A.D.

WHEREAS By-Law No. 08-2021, being a By-Law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purpose of establishing a Rural Infrastructure Reserve for the replacement and repair of rural infrastructure, shall be introduced and read a first time this 16th day of March, 2021 A.D.

RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 09-2021, being a By-Law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the purpose of establishing an Environmental Reserve for funding costs associated with protecting the quality of the environment, shall be introduced and read a first time this 16th day of March, 2021 A.D.

RESOLVED THAT the Swan Valley Planning District 2021 budget be accepted as presented and attached hereto.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman agrees to accept the attached quotes for the crushing of Municipal road gravel for 2021.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby accept the quote received from TDC Turf for 2021 services for the Minitonas Cemetery and the Centennial Park as attached hereto.

21. W. Kolisnyk – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to pay for the removal of beavers as per the attached.

22. L. Hutman – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT the Council is in favor of extending the Public Works casual contract position with Ashley Beals until May 18, 2021.
Carried.

23. C. Densen – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT the Council is in favor of extending the Public Works temporary position with Matt Wills until May 18, 2021.

24. L. Hutman – S. Walmsley
WHEREAS the Bowsman Fire Department, having received formal notification of approval for the submission for the purchase of 4 MSA GI self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBAs) and supporting equipment from the Manitoba Protection Grant for the amount of $53,838.84;
AND WHEREAS the cost for 4 MSA GI self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBAs) and supporting equipment as provided by ABC Fire and Safety, being the sole provider in Manitoba is $57,094.33;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman hereby approves and authorizes the purchase of 4 MSA GI self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBAs) and supporting equipment, the difference between the equipment cost and grant approval amount is to be transferred from the Emergency Services Reserve.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby accept the Swan Valley Municipal Airport Commission 2021 Budget as attached.

26. C. Densen – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby request that the Swan Valley Municipal Airport Commission review the agreement, specifically how it is funded and the representation from each municipality.

27. L. Hutman – D. Wagner
RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 9:00 p.m. to meet again on April 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of Council.
