RESOLVED THAT RESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 01-2021, being a By-law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman to prescribe a fee chargeable for tax certificates shall be read a third time this 16th day of February, 2021 A.D., signed by the Reeve and signed and sealed by the Chief Administrative Officer.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the List of Accounts for approval for the RM & Town of Minitonas Handi-Van Association for the year ending December 31, 2020, as attached hereto.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the December 31, 2020 RM & Town of Minitonas Handi-Van Association Financial Statement as attached hereto.

12. S. Walmsley – W. Kolisnyk
RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the proposed 2021 Budget for the RM & Town of Minitonas Handi-Van Association as attached hereto, and the submission of a request for a grant in the amount of $18,267.00 from the Province of Manitoba.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby appoint MNP LLP for the RM & Town of Minitonas Handi-Van Association 2020 audit.

RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby accept the 2020 Annual Compliance Audit for the Minitonas Water Treatment Plant and the Bowsman Water Treatment Plant.

15. L. Hutman – D. Wagner
WHEREAS the Community Foundation of Swan Valley is a charitable organization that is focused on the creation of permanent endowment funds; and
WHEREAS the Community Foundation’s goals include the promotion of philanthropy in the Swan Valley, sustaining permanently endowed funds, fulfilling community needs, and providing community leadership; and
WHEREAS the Community Foundation promotes the development of children, youth and seniors’ programs, promotes the arts, cultural and heritage activities, and promotes the enhancement of the environment; and
WHEREAS the Community Foundation supports health, wellness, sports and recreation as well as other community activities and facilities; and
WHEREAS the Community Foundation is a vehicle for donors to contribute their cash, trusts, bequests or real property to create permanent endowments that will build and improve our Swan Valley community;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman hereby proclaim February 21 to February 27, 2021 as Community Foundation of Swan Valley Awareness Week in the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby approve a grant in the amount of $800.00 to the Tent Town Garden Club for community beautification for 2021.

WHEREAS Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does recognize the importance of community spirit and physical activity in building sustainable communities;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does agree to provide a letter of support to the Baseball Legacy Committee for their proposed baseball concession and storage facility to be built at the Swan River Legion Park.

RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 9:45 p.m. to meet again on March 16, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of Council.
