Announcing Community Foundation of Swan Valley Awareness Week, February 21st to the 27th, 2021.

The Community Foundation of Swan Valley (CFSV) would like to thank the Town of Swan River, RM of Mountain and the Municipality of Swan Valley West for proclaiming the last week of February CFSV Awareness Week.

Founded in 2005 by local citizens to help people invest in building a community that is a better place to live, work and play, the foundation has provided over $900,000 in funding to date across the Swan Valley.

This week will be dedicated to:

Bringing awareness to our community about the power of philanthropy and the impact it makes on our local communities.

Celebrating
– The largest annual granting dollars in the history of the Foundation. CFSV 2021 Spring and Fall granting will exceed $120,000 (Spring Grant In-Take is open until March 5, 2021)
– In 2021 CFSV will reach a major milestone with over a $1,000,000 in total granting since 2005.

Collaboration with community minded partner Swan Valley Co-op. Donations through their gas bar and groceries will be focused on building a lasting legacy in our community with the creation of the Swan Valley Co-op Fund. This fund will be committed to supporting projects that concentrate on Recreation, Environmental Conservation and Urban Agriculture.
