The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 7:30 pm in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor Jacobson presiding along with Councillors Moriaux, Wintoniw, Friesen, Delaurier, Gray and Whyte in attendance in person.

WHEREAS Section 326 of The Municipal Act provides that a municipality may impose supplementary taxes, and Subsections 300(6) and 300(6.1) provide that a municipality may cancel or reduce taxes, upon receipt of assessment alterations from Manitoba Assessment Services;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the assessment alterations done by Manitoba Assessment Services on September 16, 2020 be made to the 2020 Property Tax Roll, resulting in a reduction of $1,305.28.
