Strong Support for Cowan Take-Out Fall Supper

It was a Fall Supper like no other, for the Cowan Community Ladies on Sunday, September 27, 2020. After a long hiatus of no functions at the Community Centre due to Covid-19, the Cowan Ladies decided to try to bring some normalcy back by having a Covid friendly Fall Supper.

During the planning stages, when our region had multiple restrictions due to code Orange, it was decided that the only option was a take out/pick up event. Well, we gave it a try and must say the community support is strong. We had a line of hungry patrons waiting for their packaged containers full of perogies, cabbage rolls, turkey and the fixings, and more.

Along with that came a salad, bun and of course dessert. It was unfortunate that we could not provide the array of the various salads and desserts like in the past, but there were options available that hopefully sufficed.

We wish to thank all who helped support our community and hope you did have a chance to eat your supper while it was still warm. We hope, as time passes, we will once again be able to provide a supper with the full choices in one way or another and the hall be filled with the chatter of neighbors and friends.
