Prairie Mountain Health Lowered to Caution Level

Prairie Mountain Health Region will be lowered to the COVID-19 Caution/Yellow level effective Friday, September 18, 2020 . The change comes in in response to an improved situation in the region.

Under the Caution/Yellow level masks are strongly recommended but not required and mask rules remain the same for schools. On school buses, students, drivers and any other passengers must wear masks. At school, students in grades 4 to 12, teachers, school staff and visitors must wear masks when physical distancing of two metres is not possible.

Public gatherings will be limited to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. Public health officials continue to monitor all the regions with increased cases closely to determine if additional restrictions are necessary.
