Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West, held in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, Manitoba this 6TH day of December 2018 at 7:00 pm.

RESOLVED that the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of Council held this 6th day of December, 2018 shall be adopted as presented.

RESOLVED that this Regular Meeting of Council shall now adjourn at 7:05 pm to proceed with the Public Hearing regarding the application for Conditional Use on the properties known as NE 29-36-29 WPM and NW 27-37-27 WPM, and will reconvene immediately following the adjournment of said Public Hearing.

RESOLVED that this Public Hearing shall now adjourn at 7:08 pm.

RESOLVED that the Regular Meeting of the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West shall now re-open at 7:10 pm to proceed with the regular business of council.

WHEREAS Kevin Ames (KTLA Repair and Services) has applied to Council for a Conditional Use Permit on part of NE 1/4 of 29-36-29W, to allow for the operation of a Heavy Duty Truck Inspection Station, referring to the Zoning By-Law #2383-04 as a Conditional Use; and
WHEREAS notice of the Public Hearing was posted and delivered to adjacent landowners, and no objections have been received;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve application.

WHEREAS Shane McFadyen (McFadyen Truck and Trailer) has applied to Council for a Conditional Use Permit on part of NW 1/4 of 27-37-27W, to allow for the operation of a truck/tractor/heavy duty repair business and safeties, referring to Zoning By-Law #2383-04 as a Conditional Use; and
WHEREAS notice of the Public Hearing was posted and delivered to adjacent landowners, and no objections have been received;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve said application.

7. TYLER KUSHNIRYK

WHEREAS Sheldon Skulmoski has applied to Council for a Zoning Variance on Lot 4, Plan 3233 916 Poplar Avenue to vary the minimum required setback for accessory uses, buildings and structures on a rural residential lot from the required one hundred and twenty-five (125) feet, as per Table 4-4 of By-Law #2383-04, to seventy (70) feet; and
WHEREAS notice of the Public Hearing was posted and delivered to adjacent landowners for the Public Hearing date of September 25th, 2018; and
WHEREAS any presentations have been received and duly considered;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Municipality of Swan River West approve said Variation Application.

RESOLVED that the Swan River Fire Department Response Report for the month of November, 2018 shall be received by the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the payment for the Star and Times Spirit of Christmas supplement ad at the cost of $119.72 plus applicable taxes, which will be paid for by Council members personally.

RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West, in accordance with Part 6 of the Planning Act, shall hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 10th, 2019 at 7:05 pm in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, MB for the purpose of hearing and receiving comments regarding the variance application for the property known as NE 11-36-27 WPM and for the review of To Close a Public Lane By-Law 0075-18.

RESOLVED that the following Animal Control Report shall be received by the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West;
Rural Animal Control Officer’s Report for the month of November, 2018
Urban Animal Control Officer’s Report for the month of November, 2018
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment for the above services shall be approved as submitted.

RESOLVED the Regular Meeting of Council be changed from January 8th, 2019 to held on January 10th, 2019 at 7:00p.m.

RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the following payments:
General Cheques # 14928 to # 14955 in the amount of $117,866.19
Payroll Cheques # 2354 to # 2366 in the amount of $17,736.76
Indemnity Cheques # 2367 to # 2376 in the amount of $11,481.75
For a Grand Total of $147,084.70
