Sunday December 9th, 2018 ”Christmas Afternoon” at the Harley House was the scene of a crowded room of happy faces.
This log house was a wonderful setting for a musical afternoon.
Visitors gathered to hear the “Highly Strung” ukulele group perform a variety of Christmas tunes.
The ukulele players have been taking lessons at the library with director Martyn Snell.
This project has been made possible by a grant through New Horizons for Seniors.
Donna Jorundson played some wonderful carols on the piano as everyone enjoyed some coffee, hot apple cider, cookies and conversation.
Visitors were able to view the historical displays in this beautiful heritage home as well as a collection of nativity scenes.
Merry Christmas to all from the Harley House Committee.
