North-West Regional Library Dressed for Christmas

Submitted by: Kathleen Sterma, Head Librarian

The North-West Regional Library Swan River was dressed for the Christmas Season at the Festival of Trees on December 4th to the 8th, 2018.

It was a very festive atmosphere with Decorated trees, Wreaths, Christmas music, cookies, and hot apple cider.

Twelve trees were decorated in different themes with Community in Blooms being the crowd favorite and the Swan Valley Settlement Services a close second.

The Christmas Wreath display featured 35 from local elementary classes and private entries. The people choice was Mrs. Atkinson’s Grade 2 Class Heyes School , and second prize was Mrs. Morden’s Grade 1B Taylor School.

The Library was filled with sounds of children’s excited voices throughout the week.

Merry Christmas from the Library!
