RESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as amended.

RESOLVED THAT Garry Bartel shall be appointed as Finance Chair for this council meeting.

RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on October 2nd, 2018 shall be adopted as circulated.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize payment of the List of Accounts numbered 5649 to 5668 inclusive, amounting to $2,032,572.44.

RESOLVED THAT the Financial Statement shall be approved as presented.

6. L. Hutman – L. Mychalchuk
RESOLVED THAT the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council does hereby approve the 2017 Audit Financial Statements for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the Staff Expense Reports as submitted.

8. J. Caruk – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the Staff overtime report as submitted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the aforementioned overtime shall be banked for future use or paid out with the next regular payroll as indicated on the employee’s individual report.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to accept the verbal resignation from the attached list of citizen reps with regrets.

10. S. Walmsley – L. Mychalchuk
RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby designate the date of November 10th, 2018 as the Lenswood Community Event known as the ‘Lenswood Harvest Wind up Dance’.

11. L. Hutman – L. Mychalchuk
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby approve Daryl Chartrand, Public Works Foreman, to attend the Parkland Public Works Association meeting in Dauphin, Mb on October 19th, 2018 and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT all applicable expenses related to said meeting will be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-Laws.
12. G. Bartel – L. Mychalchuk
WHEREAS the Community & Regional Planning Branch has reviewed the application for subdivision of PT of SW ¼ of Sec. 30-35-25WPM (NATYNA) on behalf of the municipality and finds it to be in compliance with the Zoning By-Law for the RM of Minitonas; and
WHEREAS the proposed subdivision meets the provincial criteria for a subdivision; and
WHEREAS the application has been reviewed by the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman, and found to be acceptable by the members of council;
THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the subdivision of the aforementioned parcel of land on the condition that all requirements from all Provincial Government Departments are met as per the details submitted to the Municipality by Manitoba Municipal Relations, Community & Regional Planning services dated October 10th, 2018.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT approval is subject to the condition that a Variance Order is obtained allowing an agricultural parcel less than 80 acres in the “AG” Zone.

RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 10:00 p.m. to meet again on November 6th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of council.
