WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has received an application for a Variation Order on the property known as SW ¼ of 2-36-28 WPM, to subdivide a parcel of land to create a rural residential yardsite;
AND WHEREAS Notice of the Public Hearing was posted and delivered to adjacent landowners in accordance with Part 6 of The Planning Act, and the Municipality has not received any objections with respect to said Variation Order Application;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the aforementioned Variation Order as per the Application dated June 15, 2018.

WHEREAS Scott Tibble has made application for a subdivision of 6.36 acres on Pt. NE ¼ 33-34-29W;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the subdivision to create a rural residential yardsite on the aforementioned property.

RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West, in accordance with Part 6 of The Planning Act, shall hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at 7:05 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, Mb. for the Conditional Use Application regarding a mechanical shop for transport, trailer and truck Safety Inspections, on the property known as SW ¼ 8-38-27 WPM.

RESOLVED that the Building Inspection Report dated June 30th, 2018 for the period from January to June 2018, shall be received by the Members of Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West;

WHEREAS Section 372 of The Municipal Act provides the Municipality with the ability to set a reserve bid for any property being sold at the Tax Sale Auction;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West shall hereby set a reserve bid equal to the amount of tax arrears, including all accumulated interest and costs owing for any property being sold at the Tax Sale Auction to be held on October 12th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers, 216 Main Street West, Swan River, Mb.;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby appoint the Reeve to bid on behalf of the Municipality.

WHEREAS the Swan Lake Watershed Conservation District has prioritized a project in the Municipality on the NW ¼ 34-32-29W;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West approve the following works:
Portion 1 – reconstruct and properly slope the bank adjacent to culvert edge (located on private property;) and
Portion 2 – redirect approximately 70 ft. of unnamed creek, allowing water flow to continue straight rather than meander (attached photo).
