Submitted by: Teresa McKay | Because of inclement weather on June 23, 2018, we were unable to hold our planned activities for the National Gardeners week in our Village Square in Minitonas.

There is a saying that when the rain comes it gives the gardeners a chance to clean house. We have had several weeks of wonderful sunny weather and there certainly were inside chores! We would have much rather shared the afternoon with our community and friends in our park.

I will share a few photos of our new brick planters and our cup and saucer making (indoors).

Hopefully you will all have a wonderful summer in your gardens. If you have a chance take time to stop in Minitonas grab an ice cream at the Emporium and enjoy our “Circle of Friends “ spot!
