Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West, held in the Council Chambers at 216 Main Street West, Swan River, Manitoba, this 22nd day of May, 2018 at 7:02 p.m.

WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has received an application for a Zoning amendment on the property known as Part of the NE ¼ of 18-36-27 WPM, to subdivide a parcel of land from existing home site for future sale;
AND WHEREAS Notice of the Public Hearing was posted and delivered to adjacent landowners in accordance with Part 6 of The Planning Act, and the Municipality has not received any objections with respect to said Zoning Amendment Application;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the aforementioned Zoning Amendment as per the Application dated March 28, 2018.

WHEREAS the Members of Council have reviewed and agree to the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding submitted by the Town of Swan River for mutual aid in the case of a local emergency;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to enter into a Mutual Aid Memorandum of Understanding with the Town of Swan River and shall authorize the Reeve and the Interim-Acting CAO to sign the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the Municipality.

WHEREAS Devon Heath has submitted a request to purchase Lot 25, Block 3, Plan 362 adjacent to his property;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Municipality of Swan Valley West sell the lot to Devon Heath for the amount of $250.00, and that all legal fees be the responsibility of the proposed owner.
