RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on February 6th, 2018 & of the Special Meeting of Council held on February 8th, 2018 and February 14th, 2018 shall be adopted as circulated.

RESOLVED THAT the members of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council do hereby agree to go ‘In Camera’ as a Committee of the Whole in accordance with Subsection 152 (3)(b)(ii) of The Municipal Act.

5. J. Caruk – C. Densen
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to return to reopen the meeting to the public in accordance with Subsection 152(4) of the Municipal Act.

6. G. Bartel – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT Garry Bartel shall be appointed as Finance Chair for this council meeting.

7. L. Hutman – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize payment of the List of Accounts numbered 4607 to 4726 inclusive, amounting to $1,052,382.46.
Carried.

8. J. Caruk – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT the Financial Statement and Bank Reconciliation for the month ending January 31st, 2018 shall be approved as presented.
Carried.

9. C. Densen – J. Caruk
RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the Staff Expense Reports as submitted.
Carried.

10. S. Walmsley – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby approve the attendance of the CAO and the Assistant CAO at the MMAA Conference in Winnipeg, MB April 22nd – April 25th, 2018 and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all applicable expenses related to said conference will be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-Laws.

11. J. Caruk – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby approve the attendance of the attached list of employees at the Water and Waste Operators Assessment Session in Swan River, MB on March 8th, 2018 and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all applicable expenses related to said workshop will be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-Laws.

RESOLVED THAT all members of Council as well as the CAO shall be authorized to attend the upcoming Municipal Officials Seminar in Brandon, Manitoba April 11th & 12th, 2018.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all applicable expenses related to said meeting will be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-Laws.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the proposed 2018 Budget for the RM & Town of Minitonas Handi-Van Association as attached hereto, and the submission of a request for a grant in the amount of $18,960.00 from the Province of Manitoba.

14. S. Walmsley – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to accept the quote from MNP LLP as per the attached, for the RM & Town of Minitonas Handivan Association 2017 audit.
Carried.

15. G. Bartel – C. Densen
RESOLVED THAT we do herby approve a grant in the amount of $1000.00 to the Tent Town Garden Club for the community beautification.
Carried.

16. L. Hutman – J. Caruk
RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 10:30 p.m. to meet again on March 6th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of council.
