Submitted by: Rachael Stober | The CBFCS Parent Advisory Council put on a Dessert Night/Duelling Pianos/Silent Art Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, February 10, 2018 and raised $2500 for a multi-sports pad project that will benefit the entire community of Swan River.

Almost 100 people in attendance enjoyed fabulous desserts from our local Swan Valley Co-op as well as entertainment from talented local musicians, Mark Matejka and Martyn Snell.

Mark and Martyn did an excellent job of “duelling” on their pianos!

The evening also included an opportunity to take part in a silent auction with photography by Scott Beehler, water colour art by Martyn Snell and sign art by Rachael Stober.

From all accounts, everyone had a fantastic time and is looking forward to the next one! Thank-you to everyone who came and supported our fundraising efforts. We appreciate it!
