In order to conserve water and help in the community efforts to restore the water facilities in the Town of Swan River, the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre will be cancelling the following services and community events until at least Thursday February 1, 2018.

Programs and Community Events that are cancelled:

ECFC Bingo
Monday January 29th and Wednesday January 31st

First Aid Training
Tuesday January 30th and Wednesday January 31st

Head Start Program
Monday January 29th, Tuesday January 30th and Wednesday January 31st

Succeed Connections/West Centre
Monday January 29th, Tuesday January 30th and Wednesday January 31st

Adult Education Classes
Monday January 29th, Tuesday January 30th and Wednesday January 31st

Youth Recreation Activities
Monday January 29th, Tuesday January 30th and Wednesday January 31st,
Fiddling, Beadwork, Lighthouse, ECFC 4H

The Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre will be open with front desk staff to help you with any information on services and cancellations you may need during this State of Emergency.

Our Housing staff will be available to take rents and answer any questions from tenants who may need assistance.

The Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre Hall and Boardroom will be closed to the public during this time.

The ECFC board and staff thank you for your patience and understanding as we assist with the Town of Swan River’s efforts in restoring and repairing our water facilities.
