Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 in the R.M. of Mountain Council Chambers in Birch River, Manitoba.

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 A.M. by Reeve Marvin Kovachik, quorum being present.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Agenda for the November 22nd, 2017 Regular Meeting of Council be adopted as amended.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the regular meeting of Council held November 8th, 2017 be adopted as presented, all requirements having been complied with.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby amend Committee Appointments as per Schedule “A” attached hereto.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby adopt the Municipal Land Lease Policy as per Schedule ‘A’ attached hereto.

WHEREAS Fire Department Purchasing Policy states that all purchases of the Fire Department must be authorized by Council in advance;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain approve the purchase requests as per Schedule ‘A’ attached hereto.

RESOLVED THAT Cheque Nos. 20171431 to 20171479 amounting to $95,611.07, including Direct Deposit Payroll in the amount of $4,439.98, attached hereto as Schedule A, be approved for payment.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby approve work orders #164/17 to #165/17 attached hereto.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby be authorized to attend the G5 meeting “Making a Connection between Municipalities & Healthcare” in Swan River, MB on November 22nd, 2017;
AND THAT expenses be allowed for same.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council [Marvin Kovachik] of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby be authorized to attend the MCDA AGM in Brandon, MB on December 11-13th, 2017;
