Full House at Pine River Fall Supper

Submitted by: Debbie Soloway | It had been several years since the community centre hosted a fall supper, therefore the committee decided to hold a fall supper by selling advance tickets only. This allowed their small group of volunteers the ability to cater to a specific number of guests and prepare a predetermined amount of food. The Pine River Community Centre Fall Supper held on Sunday November 12, 2017 was a complete sell out.

The woman prepared a delicious meal consisting of meatballs & gravy, ham, honey garlic glazed chicken, perogies, beet leaf buns, Cesar salad, veggies and desserts.

The dessert table had a beautiful display of pies, cakes, tarts and warm chocolate bread pudding with whipped cream.

The supper was served from 5-7 pm. and there were guests from near and far.

It was good to see Mr. & Mrs. Adam Semeniuk from Winnipeg, Adeline was a member of the community centre until they moved to Winnipeg.

Thanks to all that traveled and attended the supper, thanks to the volunteers and for those that donated desserts. The supper was a great success so be sure to get your advanced tickets early next year. Bon appétit!
