The Cowan population exploded on Sunday, September 24, 2017 as a crowd of people formed in and around the Cowan Community Centre in hopes of tasting some of the delicious items that the Cowan Ladies have been preparing.

At approximately 5:00 pm, the Fall Supper buffet table was opened with a long line forming instantly. This line of hungry patrons seemed to continue until almost 7:00 pm showing a large number of attendees. The buffet table displayed a variety of salad choices, turkey, beef, perogies, cabbage rolls and much more. If anyone still had room, a wide selection of delicious homemade desserts (such as pies and cheesecakes) was available upon completion of the main course. It was a great place to be as it allowed an opportunity to meet and chat with friends and neighbors.

The supper was a great success. Thank you to the volunteers for their donations of time and food and thank you to all who supported our supper event by attending. It is good to see that community spirit is still alive.
