Swan River Peewee Hardball Team:
Steven Arp, Matthew Munro, Nick Baskier, Brittan Yaschyshyn, Rylee Cockburn, Chris Hambley, Ethan Trevellyn, Chad Brightnose, Bo Eisner, Kaden Ferland, Will Munro, Jack Mullin, Owen Mullin, Cameron Coulthart, Henry Branconnier, Liam McArthur, and Kylan Nunn. Coaches are Darrel Ferland, assistants Dave Mullin, Darren Mullin.

We played our league play in the Parkland, playing teams from Roblin, Grandview, Dauphin, and Ste Rose. 7 teams all together. We have a regional playoff to see who goes to which provincials, this is happening on June 17-18 in Dauphin. The top ranked team will attend “AA” Provincials in Altona July 14-16, the second ranked team comes to Swan River. Swan River gets in as the “host” team for our provincials.

Its quite an exciting time for the team, this age level has never hosted before, its a lot of work and commitment, but our team is very large this year, so with 17 players that means 17 x 2 parents and workers for the event.

So we are expecting 12 teams to attend our provincial weekend. From all over Manitoba, its going to be a huge event.

We are also in need of some volunteers for the admission gate, canteen, pitch count and score keeping. Also some diamond maintenance and general clean up volunteers would be greatly appreciated.
