In the year 1930, 87 years ago the town of Durban, with a lot of community and valley supporters decided to build a community hall.

With volunteers back then and now the hall is still active with dances, suppers, and lot of special events happening almost monthly.
On June 3, 2017, we had our 87th anniversary dance. A band from Yorkton, called Old County Lads, supplied the great music.
Dance floor was busy with every dance with supporters from Dauphin, and surrounding area, and from parts of Saskatchewan as far away as Theodore. (Thanks brother for coming!).
Thanks to all who came from far and near. A late lunch was provided by the ladies and the anniversary cake nicely decorated (thanks Mega) we all had an enjoyable evening.
Would like to thank the bar workers for their help and support, good job done guys, appreciated. A 50/50 was held and a local lady won and gracefully donated the proceeds back to the hall. (thanks Katie).
With the tables nicely decorated and the great effect put in by all, all deserve a big thank you. Good music, good people, good times.
Thanks to all.
