Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held Wednesday, May 10th, 2017 in the R.M. of Mountain Council Chambers in Birch River, Manitoba.

The meeting was called to order at 10:01 A.M. by Reeve Marvin Kovachik, quorum being present.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Agenda for the May 10th, 2017 Regular Meeting of Council be adopted as amended.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Financial Plan Public Hearing held April 28th, 2017 be adopted as presented, all requirements having been complied with.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held April 28th, 2017 be adopted as amended, all requirements having been complied with.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby adopt the Development Incentive Program as per Schedule ‘A’ attached hereto.

WHEREAS Fire Department Purchasing Policy states that all purchases of the Fire Department must be authorized by Council in advance;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain approve the purchase requests as per Schedule ‘A’ attached hereto.

RESOLVED THAT Cheque Nos. 20170520 to 20170562 be approved for payment in the amount of $45,412.13, including 5,847.43 for Council indemnities, as per By-Law 03/16, attached hereto as Schedule “A”.
AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT the direct payment amount of $4,884.46 for Receiver General April 2017 be approved for payment.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby authorize the request of Pine River Lions Club: Mother’s Day Breakfast for a donation of silent auction prize in the amount of $30.00.
