The Gospel concert at Indian Birch (Wuskwi Sipihk) Hall on January 5, 2017 was well attended and enjoyed by all.

People came from various towns in the valley.

We had a great evening of listening to good gospel music and praising God together. Calvin Campeau was the MC for the evening.

The main singers were Kene and Milly Jackson from near Calgary, Alberta. A half time session, which provided a rest for Kene and Milly, included songs from Calvin Campeau, Theodore and Karen George, and Chris Kematch. All these local singers were from Sapotaweyak.

Thanks for coming and joining and adding to the event.

Sorry I forgot to get a pic of Chris. I was so busy enjoying the music I forgot to take pictures. I got the ones of Calvin and Theodore and Karen (pictured right) after the singing was over.

After the singing, people enjoyed an excellent lunch of soup, bannock, sandwiches, and sweets. The local ladies did an excellent job of making and serving the lunch. We enjoyed good fellowship around the tables too. Thank you to the Wuskwi Sipihk Band for the use of their hall. It is a very nice facility.

Thanks to all who came out on a cold evening to make this evening a success.
