It’s an exciting time in Swan Valley!

Swan Valley RISE has been awarded a grant through the Tourism Development Fund for $17,250.

The funds will be used for developing a multi-year, valley wide Tourism Development Plan. The plan will provide direction for the development and promotion of tourism sites and attractions in the Swan Valley.

With the collaboration and coordination with Valley in the Mountains Tourism, Parkland Tourism Association, local municipalities and invested community members and groups we are excited to begin the process of making Swan Valley a tourism destination.

The Tourism Development Plan will consist of 3 phases.

1. Create the Swan Valley Tourism Development Plan.
Working with an external consultant we will conduct a SWOT analysis, asset inventory and a strategic planning workshop.

2. Refresh and reposition our Brand.
We will refresh visual identity and produce concept advertising, online and traditional print media, for each differentiated product identified in the Tourism Development Plan.

3. Develop and Execute Tangible Experience Enhancement for the first priority identified in the planning process of step one.

We are eager to work with all of the existing amazing opportunities we have in the Swan Valley. Keep an eye on our facebook page as we progress through this exciting process. Let’s put Swan Valley on the map as a Tourist Destination!
