In partnership with global charitable organization WE, with generous support from Y Not Johnny’s, the Formo’s team put on a barbecue Wednesday, October 19, 2016with all proceeds being donated to the Swan Valley Food Bank. For five dollars, guests were treated to a delicious barbecued cheeseburger lunch.

Along with the nearly $800 raised, several generous attendees also donated non-perishable food items, which will be brought to the food bank at the end of the month.

Items are being collected at Formo Motors, Birch River School, and Minitonas Middle Years School until October 31st.

In the last two years, the community has raised about 3,000 pounds of food through this initiative.
