WHEREAS the purchase of a semi-tractor would benefit the municipality by reducing costs and providing efficient/timely road maintenance and was included in the 2016 Financial Plan;
WHEREAS the Superintendent of Public Works has located and inspected a semi-tractor meeting required specifications;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to move forward with the purchase of a 2006 Kenworth T800 ISX for the purchase price of $56,000. Plus applicable taxes as recommended by the Superintendent of Public Works.

WHEREAS the purchase of a tandem belly-dump trailer would benefit the municipality by helping to reduce costs and provide efficient/timely road maintenance and was included in the 2016 Financial Plan, and;
WHEREAS the Superintendent of Public Works has located and inspected a trailer meeting required specifications;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we do hereby agree to move forward with the purchase of a 2000 Canuck Belly-Dump Tandem Axle Trailer for the purchase price of $23,000.00 plus applicable taxes as recommended by the Superintendent of Public Works.
