RESOLVED THAT Deputy Reeve Mychalchuk does hereby assume the position of Chair for this meeting in the absence of Reeve Eisner.

RESOLVED THAT the agenda be adopted as amended.
Carried.

3. J. Caruk – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of council held on May 17th, 2016 and the Special Meeting of Council held on May 11th, 2016 and May 24th, 2016 shall be adopted as circulated.
Carried.

4. C. Densen – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT all members of Council as well as the CAO and Office Clerk shall be authorized to attend the G4 meeting at Thunderhill Ski Club on June 6th, 2016.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all applicable expenses related to said meeting will be paid in accordance with current Municipal Policies and By-Laws.

RESOLVED THAT the attached ad shall be place in the Star & Times to honor the 2016 graduates;

6. J. Caruk – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to change the Minitonas Curling Rink Insurance as per the attached;

7. S. Walmsley – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the Staff Expense Reports as submitted.
Carried.

8. G. Bartel – J. Caruk
RESOLVED THAT the attached request for leave shall be approved by the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman.
Carried.

9. L. Hutman – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize the CAO to apply for grant funding for the Minitonas Hall under the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
Carried.

10. C. Densen – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the attached Application for License to Construct Water Control Works received from Manitoba Water Stewardship in regards to NW 25-36-27W.

11. S. Walmsley – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to continue past curfew by majority of council in accordance with the current Procedures By-Law.
Carried.

12. G. Bartel – C. Densen
WHEREAS in 2015 the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman had received funding under the Municipal Road Improvement Program for major repairs projects; and
WHEREAS the projects must be completed in 2016;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to place the attached Requests for Quotes in the Swan Valley Star & Times and on ValleyBiz for a period of 2 weeks.

13. S. Walmsley – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT By-law No. 04/2016, being a by-law of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman respecting Unsightly and Untidy Premises, Nuisances and Dangers to Public Safety and Health, shall be introduced and read a first time this 7th day of June, 2016 A.D.

14. G. Bartel – J. Caruk
WHEREAS the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council has determined that, under the terms of By-Law No. 2/2007, the condition of the attached property has become unsightly, a nuisance and possible danger to the public;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the owner of the aforementioned property shall be given written notice advising them that the condition of said property must be rectified by the deadline of June 17, 2016 and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT should the condition of the property not be corrected by the aforementioned date, the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman Council shall provide authorization for the work to be completed and the associated costs of said work shall be billed to the property owners accordingly.

15. C. Densen – J. Caruk
WHEREAS the municipality has been awarded funding under the Growing Assurance- Farmland Beaver Control Program, and;
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of local producers to enter into an agreement with the Province of Manitoba to assist with the management of problem beavers on private lands within the municipality;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to the terms and conditions of the aforementioned agreement and authorize Deputy Reeve Mychalchuk to sign said agreement on behalf of the municipality.

RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby enter into the attached agreement.
Carried.

17. S. Walmsley – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 12:05 a.m. to meet again on June 21st, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of council.
