It was presented by Glenda Nischuk from Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Glenda, a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, and owner of the Better Living Nutrition Centre, first discussed the Eight “Natural Doctors” using the acronym NEWSTART: Nutrition, Exercise, Water (drinking approximately 8 cups per day) Sunshine, Temperance (avoiding harmful things and using moderation of good things), Air (fresh air). Rest (approximately 8 hours per night and 1 day per week) and Trust in God.

During Part 2 of the Seminar, Glenda discussed, (using a number of demonstrations); hydrotherapy (healing through the application of hot and sometimes cold water to parts of the body to increase blood circulation and mobility of white blood cells, etc.), fomentations, ice massage, wet sheet packs and other natural home remedies, several of which were used by our grandmothers many years ago. Positive comments were made by those who attended the seminar.
