On June 4, 2016 a retirement celebration was held for Rev. Kathy Highmoor.

Kathy has ministered to the members of Hillsview Pastoral Charger for 35 years.

Her guidance and compassion have reached throughout the Valley during 808 funerals, 296 weddings, 312 baptisms and 114 confirmations.

A large group gathered for a potluck supper and program highlighting the past and present.

There was music and laughter and a special visit from Elvie and Polly Darton.

There were tributes from friends, colleagues, and those whose lives she had touched including 6 year old Hallie and 4 year old Nyah Kichyuk.

Rev. Highmoor also spoke, providing an excellent reflection on her 35 years.
