On June 7, 2016 members of Swan River Royal Purple Elks Lodge #185 continued their 50+ years of community service by planting flowers in the bed at the bottom of the 9th Ave. N. entrance to Legion Park.

At this time the Lodge also provides several subscriptions of the Star & Times to the Swan Valley Health Care Centre. The Lodge’s major fundraising activities – Christmas Dainty sale & catering to the Credit Union banquet provide funds for ongoing bursaries to the Regional Secondary School & Music Festival, donations to 2016 Refugee fund, Elks Fund for Children & other community needs that may arise.
