Guests were greeted at the door with live entertainment from Bill Macooh and Les Rolsky.
The club’s 26 dancers started off the concert with a welcome Pryvit, where a variety of regions from Ukraine were represented in costume and dance.
Throughout the afternoon, the Rhythm/Movement, Beginner, Intermediate, Novice, and Senior dancers performed lively dances that showed off their skills and love of dance. Special dances were performed to celebrate Brenna Schure advancing to the Senior level and Joanne Riehl and Austin Spencer who are graduating from the club.
During the intermission guests were treated to an appetizer buffet and beverages. To round out the afternoon, the Senior group, along with guest performers performed a lively Hopak choreographed by Amanda Yaschyshyn, the club’s long time instructor. The Benito Vesselli Dancers love to entertain and look forward to next year.
