The Swan Valley Refugee Committee is now accepting donations and has set up The Swan Valley Refugee Fund at the Swan Valley Credit Union.
The account # is: 110030323296.
Money can be deposited into the Credit Union account but tax receipts can not be issued.
For individuals requiring tax receipts, the following organizations have already agreed to accept donations to flow through to the Swan Valley Refugee Committee and will issue tax receipts:
– The Town of Swan River
– Durban Covenant Church
– St. Andrew’s United Church
The Swan Valley Refugee Committee is aiming to welcome three refugee families into the Swan River Valley. Although the costs differ with the size of each refugee family, we are looking at raising approximately $60,0000.
