Community Futures Parkland is now accepting nominations for Adult and Youth Volunteer Awards.

The nomination deadline is March 31, 2016


Volunteerism has a HUGE impact on our communities and because of this Community Futures Parkland is showing their appreciation!

Do you know someone that should be taking a bow for building their community and making a difference? Is there someone you think deserves an extra pat on the back and show of appreciation? Does someone in your community generously donate their time, energy and enhance community spirit? Don’t you agree that these individuals warrant special recognition!

Adult Volunteer Awards: Community Futures Parkland will be handing out five awards that will total $1,500.00. Each award amount of $300.00 will be donated to the volunteer and they in-turn will give the contribution to the charity or community project of choice that is located within the Parkland. In addition to receiving the cash, the volunteers will be highlighted in papers throughout the Parkland and presented with a certificate of appreciation.

Youth Volunteer Awards: Do you know a young person, 18 or under, who is enrolled in a Parkland school that gives time to their community to make it a better place to live? The young person who displays the most commitment to community life in the Parkland will receive an iPad mini while four other Parkland youth will each receive an award!
