The Richardson Recreation & Wellness Swan Valley Credit Union Aquatic Centre held their Winterfest December 19 to December 24, 2015.

The afternoons were filled with festive crafts, fun games and holiday themed activities for all ages which included:

– Melting ice cubes with their hands to “Free Frosty”
– Building Olaf snowmen
– Decorating sugar cookies to eat
– Making water filled yo-yo’s
– Playing “What time is it Santa Claus”
– Throwing real snowballs through missing front teeth


– Walking on a bridge of Mats
– Crafting elf ears to wear
– Crafting “Shelly” turtles
– Playing “holiday rush” in the pool
– Finding how many presents were hidden in the Centre, then entering their guess to win the “visions of sugarplums” jar of goodies.
