Swan River RCMP charge driver after dangerous driving video posted on Social Media

On September 25, 2015 Swan River RCMP initiated an investigation regarding a video posted on social media.

The video obtained by police displayed a cluster of very concerning traffic offences, which clearly put the public at risk. The suspect vehicle has been identified, and the driver charged.

Sheldon Karl SKULMOSKI (43 year old male) of the R.M. of Swan Valley West, MB has been charged criminally with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, as well as an assortment of Highway Traffic Act charges, such as: speeding, failing to use a seat belt, and for the use of a hand-held electronic device while driving (distracted driving).

“Our officers have many ways to investigate criminal offences and those include monitoring activities and postings on public sites and social media.” said Sgt.
