On August 8, 2015, shortly before 2:00 am, Swan River RCMP attended a residence on Main Street in Swan River in response to a call of a residential fire.


Officers arrived at the scene and found the residence fully engulfed in flames. The body of a 64 year-old male, identified as the lone resident of the home, was located inside.

D Division RCMP Major Crime Services and Swan River RCMP are investigating this case, with the assistance of the Office of the Fire Commissioner.

No other details are available at this time.
