On Fridy, June 19, 2015 a retirement luncheon was held in the SVRSS Cafeteria to honour the Retirement of Henry Barkowski who retired after 45 years of service to the Swan Valley School Division.

Over the noon hour a luncheon prepared by the SVRSS Food Services was celebrated with present students, staff, parents who were also joined by former students, colleagues, and friends. Great day for a great man.

During the last 27 years of his Career, Henry Barkowski served as the principal of the Swan Valley Regional Secondary School. During his last student assembly he was the MC for the student awards and recognition.
