This day started with a pancake breakfast put on by the Benito Volunteer Fire Department.

Sparky, the fire department mascot – pictured (right) with Elizabeth Beehler at the bouncy castle – also made an appearance.

There was plenty of entertainment for the kids throughout the afternoon with games, prizes, face painting, bouncy castle and dinosaur dig.

The afternoon ball tournament was enjoyed by those participating as well as by a collection of fans.

A horseshoe tournament also took place during the afternoon.

Gymkhana was yet another afternoon event.

Afternoon entertainment was Diane Pretaski (left)

The evening entertainment featured Terri and the Sticks in the Mud (right).

Thanks to the Benito Recreation Board Volunteers – for making it happen!
