Swan River Minor Hockey hosted Hockey Day on February 7. 205 for all kids registered in minor hockey to come and have fun! The skills competition included Obstacle race, Hardest shot, Skating race and 3 puck shoot out.

Even with the winter storm we had 27 kids. Many of the older age groups were away for tournaments, so the day was made up of ages 4-10.

The morning skills went well with lots of help on ice from minor hockey coaches & Swan Valley Stampeders.

Craig Zamzow kept everyone entertained with his brilliant commentary and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Lunch was on time & piping hot pizza courtesy of chicken Chef and Chips from Lucas Atkinson

After lunch we had a friendly all star game that saw lots of action & many great plays

The all star game was won by the white team, close score of 11-9.

Jackson Badowski & Brady Burghart were the fastest overall tied with 29 seconds

Skate Race
Jackson Badowski was the fastest with a time of 9.8
