Once again, Valley people attended another Soup & Bun held by the St. Andrew’s United Church in Swan River on January 23, 2015.

During “The Valley’s” annual “January Melt”, over 200 people could be found enjoying the food, the friendship and the socializing.

St. Andrew’s is very grateful to those who took the time to join us for lunch.

Many helping hands made this event possible, and a steady flow of hungry people kept the workers busy. The organizers, the Mission & Outreach Committee of St. Andrew’s lead by Ida Theodore, appreciated all contributions.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to our Mission & Service Fund which is forwarded to the United Church of Canada.

A big thank you also goes to Lana Graham, caretaker at the Veterans Hall. She is very helpful and organized, keeping the premises clean & tidy & offering advice when needed.
