RCMP Media Release | On January 22, 2015, at about 9:30 am, Swan River RCMP and local emergency services attended to a two-vehicle collision on Provincial Road 83, south of Benito, Manitoba.

Investigation revealed a southbound pickup truck driven by a 23-year-old male from Swan River collided with a trailer being hauled by another southbound pickup truck driven by a 60-year-old driver from the RM of Mountain, Manitoba.

The 23-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Alcohol is not a factor and all occupants were wearing seatbelts. Road conditions were not a factor in the collision.

The investigation continues.
