The end of 2014 also marked the end of voting in the Sledtown Showdown Final.

With all the votes in, the final numbers showed Swan Valley in the lead with 4998 votes, a 647 lead over Valemount, BC at 4325.

Beginning with 64 destinations across the 4 western provinces, the contest had sledders vote for the their favourite sledding community in each province. Swan Valley beat out Husdon Bay, SK in the regional finals and went on to face off against Valemount, BC in the finals for the distinction of Top Snowmobile Destination.

The winner will be officially crowned on Friday January 9, 2015.
